Invillith - Frostbound
12:06
|
|||
Carried by the winds of a cold northern prose
Ensorcelling ice-crystal laden hymns
So gradual yet swift
comes the unspoken prayers
Unbound by the words of man
Sung by the Fae
Whispers of an archaic aura
That rustles the pines
Leaves dance in breeze
Here in these times
I'd swear I could feel
That presence divine
For the Gods are alive again
Even now
When all spoken glories
Of those times ago have but withered away
Here and now
When all we were made for
And swore to protect
Is now burned at the stake
Harken
Echoes of millennia
Vibrate these oaken halls
Rise again
Thrash against the new war
More subtle than the sword
The silent decay
The ages succumbing to the paragons of lunacy
I now lay to waste
Your backwards poisonous doctrines
For you fiends never had use for me
Boldness in heart
And wisdom in sight
Persevere in the darkness
Of the clandestine plight
Finding my solace
In these cold winter nights
Here the heathen spirit flourishes
Inspiring in strife
Spoken from the astral tongues
Recited by the ancient ones
Condemned by the enemy
Though truth forever prevails
In the eve of Ragnarok
What better a time than now
To heed the mysteries
bound by frost
In the age of iron
What better a time than now
To heed to the knowledge
Of our forbears
Winter's essence beholds a magic
A flickering flame
Unmistakably pure
Vayudeva blowing the freezing winds
From north to south
The grey covers the ether
In my dreams
I still hear the chanting
The sung charms of Wotan
Echo through the trees
Lone in the forest
As a solitary heart
I pay my respects
And pour fourth the libations
Even now
When all spoken glories
Of those times ago have but withered away
Here and now
When all we were made for
And swore to protect
Is now burned at the stake
Harken
Echoes of millennia
Vibrate these oaken halls
Rise again
Thrash against the new war
More subtle than the sword
I solemnly gaze
From the towering canopy
To the skies painted grey
I'd always retain
My sentiment of beauty
In Mother Nature's grace
For the shortening days
And the lengthening nights
With the descent of frostwind
Brings serenity to this mind
Finding my solace
By the dim candlelight
Here the heathen spirit flourishes
Inspiring in strife
Spoken from the astral tongues
Recited by the ancient ones
Condemned by the enemy
Though truth forever prevails
In the eve of Ragnarok
What better a time than now
To heed the mysteries
bound by frost
In the age of Kali
What better a time than now
To heed to the testaments
Of the sages
I contemplate that time of centuries past
When the Vedas were chanted
Neath the snow bearing sky
Hymns of praise raised to the gods
"Hail to Indra!
The great serpent of the waters is slain!"
All throughout the northern hemisphere
Anthems sung to the welkin high
Grant me this divine vision
To see such splendor again
I want to remember
All I have are vague flashes
The vibrance from lives before
From this earth
And far beyond this plane
Seemingly resurge significantly
In the tide of Yule
My eyes ranging across the starfields
In awe of this wondrous scene
Gleaming beacons
Of where the Great Ones dwell
Dressing the night
With the high palaces of light
I behold this valiant grandeur
With honor and reverence benign
Channeling within me
The frostbound incantation
And toast my chalice up to the sky
Welcome
O spirits of the winter
Rejoice

The fires extend
Their palms up to the sky
Against the grasp of shadows
Deep in the palace of frost
The cold winds soar up above
And graze the earth below
The reign of Perihelion
I behold
The caress of flame
To ease the lash of ice
Descending breath of winter
The barren arctic tide
I am imbued by the force
That guides this cyclic rebirth
The Endless One to whom I soon
Shall return
If I shall meet my fate
When the flames recede
Then I accept this destiny
For this wicked world
Has fallen far too cold
Than any age
Has ever known
But this my prayer:
O Spirit of the North
Grant me at the least
This final humble request
May your benign subjects
Accompany me
For the blunders of man
Have but chased away such grace
I offer my obeisances
O mighty one
May all who dare
Pervert your kingdom
Taste the bite of your icy scythe
Lone in winter's maw
Whose howling winds
Haunt the pine
Know this soul
At your mercy
Is of Ice and Ember
Like unto thee
Palms toward the solitary heat
A mirror of the sun and stars
As the blackened astral plains
Vast and dark
Are illuminated
Draped beneath the freezing shroud
In silence
In glacial repose
Hours pass as gleaming warmth
Captures this weary gaze
I bask in the amber haze
And feel the barrier wearing thin
Between the worldly planes
Thus a sense of reverence
As spirits pass through the flames
To become something else
Within the subtle panes
Of materiality
And yet the embers dancing bright
Are subtle echoes
Of those wandering through
And deep within
This unfettered mind
Resounding hope is rekindling
As the fires glow with ambition
Not unlike this heart
Aurora light the way
Come bear your splendor
I see your shape
You are the strokes of light
That leap throughout the firmament
Luminescent vulpine visage
I implore
Cosmic tails upon the night
Ignite the blaze
All across the northern sky
As the Wildhunt takes to flight
Riding with the ether charge
A radiant display
Hordes of winter fury storm
On winds of a deathless tide
The flair of nebula
I rise in awe of all I witness
Flurry of strength
And vengeance divine
No force could ever suppress
The arcane grace of the past
For the enemy has failed
Souls so hardened by the cold
And several times reborn
Burn bright with eternal glow
We are the Ember

Anfarwol - Not Here
14:06
|
|||
(In their wings, in their trees
All things die, be at peace
They went looking for the gods
And died in lonely places
rattling to somewhere else
from somewhere else
They feared death
So they are the young)
I can't
Die here
This is not
My home
My tethers
Are not drawn
From this land
Of dying gold
The beating heart
Parasitcally Drained
By the spirits
Of longing past
They looked for the gods
And died in lonely places
This house
Is haunted
I can't
Die here
I can't
Die here

Anfarwol - Bloodletting
11:29
|
|||
Standing at the paradigm
Where the cold front comes to lay
I'm draining the blood
From my unhallowed veins
My heart is still beating
My head is so light
And yet I press onward
I refuse to die
I know that there's a reason
This has to be a test
These frostbitten blisters
This mark on my chest
I'm food for frozen ficain
Unless I drain away
These frostbitten bindings
The snow turns red
Call me a heathen
A sinner
A demon
But know that my hands
Are not painted with weakness
The massacres of ages
Paraded as justice
The name of your "savior"
Written with the blood of the innocent
Recall our history
In your favor
Heroes you claim to be
While you burn our Vedas
Turn a blind eye
While your biggest proclaimers
Ruin the souls of
Your broken children
Falsify the past
And falsify the future
Falsify the nature that
The world never conjured
Burn anyone
Who dare question your word
Fall in line or suffer
You are the herd
Fall in line
Let me out
Holding
My head
Up high
One with the Night
I am the Blizzard
The lake frozen over
Crimson Bloodletting
From beyond the paradigm
The cold front has come
The hand of Narayana
Reaches from within the veil
Above falsehood
Equilibrium
The eye has revealed
Itself to me
Guided by starlight
The winds of the north
These frostbitten bindings
Are broken once more
Rise and return
From your immortal ashes
Awakening of the
True deeper spirit
Call me a heathen
A sinner
A demon
But know that my path
Is not paved in supremacy
The massacres of ages
The shackles
The cages
Were put there as a symbol
of grotesque sovereignty
Recall our history
Burned at the stake
Rewritten by imbeciles
Who follow without name
Turn a blind eye
While religious eradication
Sweeps across the earth
in the name of ascendancy
